Eurofoam is a European company serving its customers in 16 Central and Eastern European countries through a dense network of 42 production and processing facilities. So far, each country organisation had its own names for the different foam types.

Due to simplification and standardization reasons - for both, our customers and us - a new nomenclature for our foam names was developed which will be implemented in the whole Eurofoam Group by the end of the year 2009.

The switch over at Eurofoam Kremsmünster will take place on Monday, June 29^th 2009.

All characteristics and specifications of our foam types and products stay exactly the same! 
The only thing that changes is the nomenclature of our foam names:

N = Normal	All soft, normal and hard foams. The letters W and H are replaced with N.	W 2120 H 65140	> N 2120 > N 65140
R = High resilient foam	The letter K is replaced with R.	K 5560	> R 5560
V = Visco	All viscoelastic foams.		> V 5020
.F = fire retardant	As affix for fire retardant foams.		> VF 6020 > RF 3540

The names of our brands such as Bultex, Eurofoam deflammo FF, cellpur, NAWAPUR and EMC will not be changed.

As in the past, the four numbers further on represent the density and hardness of the foam.
For example regarding the foam type R 5560, this indicates a density of 55 kg/m³ and a hardness of 6,0 kPa.
