Eurofoam takes its first steps in the USA
Presentation of the innovation cellpur at the international mattress trade fair in North Carolina
Since the first launch of cellpur® at the Interzum, the international furniture trade fair in Cologne in May 2009, the worldwide interest in Eurofoam’s comfort foam with active climate management has grown. After granting of licences to customers all over Europe as well as in Japan and China, now first talks with potential buyers in the USA have set in. Wolfgang Klanner, cellpur® product manager at Eurofoam, has taken the opportunity to establish further contacts and to consequently reinforce a successful market entrance at the ISPA Expo, the biggest mattress trade fair in the USA from March 3rd to 6th 2010.

„The interest in cellpur® is enormous in the USA. We can definitely see that also the American mattress industry prepares for an upcoming economic boom relying on innovative products and market novelties”, states Wolfgang Klanner, cellpur® product manager, after his visit to the ISPA Expo. “We already had intense initial discussions with some companies before. After first personal talks, the next step will be to check and grant licences”, he says. In the week following the exhibition, the cellpur® product manager has already visited some potential American licensees, among them also major foam producers.

The ISPA Expo – the most renowned trade fair for mattresses worldwide
The ISPA (International Sleep Products Association) Expo took place in Charlotte, North Carolina from March 3rd to 6th with more than 200 exhibitors. The organisers had aimed at presenting the visitors with innovations regarding machinery, equipment, materials and services. Consequently, Eurofoam world novelty cellpur® with integrated Tencel-powder for a drier sleeping climate had to be introduced to the American public as well.
