Strong & elastic
PUR foam can be very strong, and as elastic as a down-filled pillow at the same time. The desired properties are adjusted by the production process.
Physiologically neutral
PUR foam is chemically neutral and can be considered physiologically harmless.
Durable
PUR foam demonstrates good acid, alkali and moisture resistance. Due to its open cell structure, the material regulates the temperature.
Easy to clean
PUR foam is easy to clean and can be washed and disinfected without any problem.
Sound
PUR foam absorbs sound very well.
Heat transfer co-efficient
PUR foam has a heat transfer co-efficient of ca. 0.04 W/m.K
Halon ban
We act in strict accordance with the halon ban when producing our PUR foams, i.e. we do not use CFCs or low-boiling, halogenated hydrocarbons.
Environment
PUR foam does not decompose and does not contaminate groundwater. If burned, the amount of harmful substances released into the atmosphere is the same as for natural substances such as wood, coal, leather or cork.
Toxicology
Our PUR foams are free of harmful heavy metals and do not contain any toxic substances.
