"human-machine"
At this year’s Ars Electronica Festival, which took place from August 31st to September 5th in Linz, the artists Christopher Rhomberg and Tobias Zucali impressed the public with their „human-machine” installation.
"What if human beings were controlled by machines they had created themselves?"
Visitors to the Ars Electronica Festival 2006 were able to experience the answer to this question at first hand: Attached to the "human-machine" they had to sort foam cubes by remote control.
Eurofoam supported the two Austrian artists by helping them select the right material for the seat shell at the machine and provided 60 pieces of PUR–coated, foamed cubes in three colors.

"Intercity Berlin-Prague"
Between 4th October and 1st November 2006 a design exhibition was held in Prague at the Manes Gallery as part of a German-Czech exchange program. Every year, a different art or design discipline is presented together by a curator from Berlin and Prague. The first few years were dedicated to painting and photography but this year, 1,100 m² of exhibition area presented the topic "Design".
Eight designers from Germany and the Czech Republic respectively collaborated on this project. Eurofoam supported the "Intercity Berlin-Prague" exhibition in a variety of ways by providing differently colored, foam cubes, etc.
