Many sports and recreational products owe their special characteristics to different types of foam grades.

 

PUR foam definitely plays a major role in the functionality and comfort of so many things: ski goggles, brassieres, trekking shoes, work and safety shoes, biking pants, jet pants, sports mats or sports and recreational equipment for children, to name just a few.

Our ester and ether-based PUR grades are also applied in a number of industrial products. The materials can be cut, punched, milled, thermoformed, laminated, high-frequency welded or flocked.

 

Application examples

 

Sports
Gymnastic mats: ether grade with a density between 18 and 25 kg/m³
Eyewear industry: frame padding, laminations

 

Shoes
Work shoes: ester and ether grades with a wide range of densities, also reticulated foams

 

Textiles
Lingerie industry: hyper soft foams for padding

Technical applications
Our foams demonstrate outstanding technical properties: even and precisely controlled cell structure, extremely base and acid resistant, excellent sound absorption, highly elastic and good shock absorption.
For these reasons their range of application is manifold: insulating tape, thermal insulation, dampening material, transport protection and packaging, air conditioning systems, etc.
